So apparently Dimitar is a good intermediary for helping people trade/escrow securely. I thought I had someone willing to trade BTC<->MAID, but there was a misunderstanding. So my offer still stands if anyone wants my MAID for your BT. And @Dimitar_Goshev, if he feels like it, can act as an intermediary. Maybe he would like a tip, too
Think you want this @Dimitar
Thanks 1 character.
You’ve been here a long time. Any reason you are selling? Just hope you haven’t given up.
No higher paying job for unknown amount of time. Just selling extremely slowly, still waiting for October or whenever the release is, and subsequent apps/marketing/growth!
Since the issue with US citizens and EU laws even being an intermediary is not wise any more.
If you want to continue asking then the OTC topic is a better place
Thanks for that. So yeah click that thread if anyone wants to trade.

So according to my experience, whatever it’s worth: HitBTC revamped its design some months back? And it seems like maybe it could be useful as a trading platform: not so buggy anymore; hopefully fees not so bad; though I haven’t actually done anything on there yet besides sign up (which wasn’t even possible with the months-ago design, due to bugs, bugs, and bugs). Apparently, the MAID deposit ability has been offline for maintenance since July 5th. “The Technical team has successfully identified the issue and is working on the fix.” I’m not sure the date at which this quote first appeared. I’m hoping it’s fixed soon? It is literally impossible to trade MAID anywhere in the world now, except for on that website. Nobody here is willing to trade among themselves, all other websites in existence have ceased functionality for/de-listed MAID.
Maybe take 5 minutes to learn about Ethereum, your brain will go crazy how magical Uniswap is and how easy it is to trade eMAID on it…
Privacy. Security. Freedom
What about MAID though.
Its a revamped set of morals and a management change HitBTC need, not a prettier interface.
Forget about (Omni)MAID - accept the fact its untradeable by 99.99% for a wide range of very cogent reasons. Use the excellent MAID-eMAID process from alt.co to get eMAID and belatedly clamber into the 2020s. Then trade your eMAID as freely as you want. And if there is none for sale, ask yourself why that might be and be thankful.
But don’t encourgage anyone to do business with proven criminals.
Once we hit launch (around a couple of months away now) the MAID will, I believe, be trade locked and available on the network as the network token. Presumably, at that time at least one if not many exchanges will allow trading of this network token.
Since when was launch a couple of months away?
It was reported by the CEO that launch was October and I haven’t read anything, anywhere, which confirms otherwise.
The end of October is just over two months away.
File under : inconvenient facts
As @happybeing said launch is actually almost exactly 2 months away. 29th Aug → 29th Sept → 29th October. And the 29th October is within the range for launch (end October).
Yea it is creeping up on us and after all this time to be saying planned launch is a couple of months away is almost unbelievable.
Well thanks for all the replies. Glad it resulted in a big conglomeration in the post above mine.
If anyone knows when HitBTC has fixed/started MAID deposits again: please let me know!
You might not be able to trade Maid on HitBTC as orderbook depth might be close to 0. Just check that first if they fix their wallet.
Hm. How is the MAID price even being determined then if nobody is trading MAID?
