Emaid price is 23 cents, regular Maid is a little under 17 cents.

That is because arbitrage don’t work right now since Bittrex Maid wallet is on maintenance. So can’t convert Maid to Emaid for arbitrage.

Yes it is not good as an exchange, pools seems only convinient to swap coins but not as a substitute for exchanges with orderbooks.

I think @Toivo who said yesrerday or so that Bittrex Maidsafe wallet is on maintenance, so Maid deposits and withdraws might not be open at the moment.

Just buy the MAID - if you have enough BTC to cover it - the wallets go down for maintenance every so often and are usually available again inside 24 hrs.
IIRC it was offline for a couple of days once but that was a few years back.
Just dont push the price too high please, I am expecting some more BTC tomorrow for further buying <650

I think the last time I heard about wallet maintenance it took like 2 weeks, the omni protocol takes a long time to rebuild the database
depends on the reason for maintenance. Last time I heard about it in this forum it took a long time which was obviously rebuilding the omni protocol DB

Thanks for letting us know. I withdrew all the excess immediately. Though I have to say Bittrex is the one I trust the most. But still…
I think I’m going to convert some more into EMAID. I need to sell some in this year in any case, so the tax consequences don’t matter. The price is also clearly better, at the moment at least, and I guess there could be a shortage of EMAID coming when the interest picks up again.
