Beta Rewards Network Launch Wed 12GMT — Here's what you need to do!

I suspect it’s because they haven’t started the network yet.

Patience!

Wait till tomorrow noon GMT, 1pm BST, 2pm CEST (sorry, just know by heart my close timezones). If I understood correctly, they said they’d postpone the beta beginning a little.

Not sure about that

So the question is - will nodes, version 0.108.0, that were started before launch of the network, bootstrap as soon as the beta network is launched, or not?

No… they will not.

I’m testing on a Windows 10 machine and node-launchpad has started without problems.
I now have 10 nodes running and a memory usage of 321MB. although, so far, there doesn’t seem to be much data movement.

I’m not on this wave and I don’t know if the ‘Total Nanos Earned’ should work or not.

Noticed also this error:
ERROR sn_node::node] Error while trying to forward balance: Wallet(Transfer(MissingTxInputs)
Is this ok?

Guys there is no network up. The nodes that you are starting are not connecting to anything.

Hi, I can’t make the Launchpad running on Windows. Tried several times but everytime I open the Launchpad.exe as an administrator, it looks like something is happening (some window is opened for a milisecond) and then - Nothing…

on Linux, its easy but I have no idea how to make it working on Windows. Is there some secret sauce other than downloading the file, extracting and running as administrator?

powershell error
I tried to run the Launchpad via Powershell (as administrator), and I get this error. I’m sorry if these are basic things but for me it is not

Thanks for any help.

In my case, nodes (Windows) do not start, probably because the system by default checks the availability of space on the (C:) drive, while I only have the system on it and there is no more space on it, while on the second drive (E:) I have a lot of free space and Launchpad was installed on this second E drive.

Is it possible to somehow change the drive that is selected by default, i.e. C, to drive E, so that the available space is taken into account? How can I change this?

There is some bug, that prevents new Launchpad version from reading old (v0.2.0) config files. You can try to clear old Launchpad config or wait for a fix, which is expected tomorrow morning.

As mentioned on the stages last night/this morning a few hours ago.

We’re delaying launch until 12GMT (noon) while we wrangle a bot!

Thanks for your understanding
