Mine too with ports forwarded in the router, and I used to get instantly connected after node launch, but this network just does not work…

looks like a version mismatch between client and nodes ?
maybe using old client ? or certain amount of nodes in the network not upgraded yet ?

Is there a window of opportunity for nodes to upgrade, surely people cant wait days and be considered a good node.

I have 5 running from home - no records yet but its only 10 mina

Hey everyone,
We’ve had some issues here with an unintentional breaking change that went in, with respect to protocol versions. This is likely the source of the problems with nodes not dialing out, and possibly other things. We actually had it on our list for a long time to put some backwards compatibility testing into CI, but with everything going on, it’s been hard to get to.
The solution should be to upgrade our own nodes, which I’m going to do shortly. I will keep this thread updated on the progress.
For now, you may want to wait until we’ve completed our upgrade, to see how things go after that.

Not an issue I can’t fix, just reporting what happened when upgrading. Maybe a catch in the upgrade checker to retry on non-fatal issues?

I had that start the stopped ones like
sudo env "PATH=$PATH" safenode-manager start --service-name safenode17
once they are running again re run the upgrade and all should be well
if you give me a wallet address i can try sending you some token to verify that it’s working on your end
make it a 0.000000001 send don’t waste any incase it fails. if this network gets back in action i think every coin will be worth more than gold lol
