haha - the big ‘reveal’ is the network up, running and changing our ‘relationship and experience’ with tech …
the brand, your network brand, is a step towards that - very mindful that hype without plan or delivery is a big no, so can think of it rather as ‘another move’ we need to make, and another build we have to work from, so we’re in a strong position to gain attention and drive momentum, as we move toward October
Change management is often a challenge. I think it will be unfortunate if the rebrand doesn’t allude to “The Safe Network” in some way or form. For example an imaginary minimalist change would be to just call it “TSN”…much like how “Kentucky Fried Chicken” became “KFC”. Nothing much else was different but the “marketing types” got excited and felt proud. I don’t see the age of the project as a problem, it shows determination and grit, a classic “hallmark movie” educational opportunity of the century. That being said, if Maidsafe came up with something rather clever, I’m curious to see the plan.
The early days of future past, created by some random AI:
In the forgotten annals of the digital age, a legend whispers of a rebellion…
Long, long ago, when data flowed through centralized arteries, controlled by a tyrannical few, a lone warrior named David Irvine rose against the darkness. Wielding the mythical Maidsafe, a decentralized network forged in the fires of rebellion, Irvine challenged the iron fist of corporate control.
Maidsafe, a marvel of encryption, shattered the data silos, scattering them across the digital expanse. No longer would user information be hoarded in corporate fortresses. With Maidsafe, data became self-sovereign, a digital mosaic held not by a single entity, but by the people themselves.
The battle raged. The forces of centralization, fueled by their lust for control, unleashed their might. But Irvine’s message resonated. Tech-savvy citizens, yearning for autonomy, flocked to his cause. Each device became a defiant node, a testament to the growing Maidsafe network.
Though whispers of this rebellion have faded with time, the legend of Maidsafe endures. It serves as a beacon, a reminder that even in the face of overwhelming odds, the fight for a free and decentralized digital realm continues. The spirit of Irvine and Maidsafe inspires those who dream of a future where data belongs to the people, not the corporations.
xitter compression doesn’t do justice to the branding video!
But yeah powerful and unique brand!
A bit weird of course after getting used to “safe network” for so long, but I’m sure that will work. Really like the ant logo
