I just wanted to point out to the forum what the MaidSafe Launcher UI is going to look like!

I think it looks really great, thank the UI team for the designs! And who says that decentralized technology has to look bad? I bet if Bitcoin looked this nice more people would use it.
Right, thank you for the correction @hillbicks Go @Shona! Saw Shona was doing another video I think for launcher? I lose track because there’s so much going on but I can’t wait to see it.
After many losses I started to think last week about actively trading and riding the waves of altcoin market.
I also bought an extra 50k maid to sell again a little higher but this is definitly not going to happen because I won’t sell them at all, their mine and they’ll stay mine
(hopefully lol)
→ no no joking saying hopefully because last 2weeks I also lost around 2000€ by a scam (stupid me) and sold the remaining 2000€ because of the frustration around this scam.
Looking @ the charts now today only a week later this 4k would have been 25k so it looks like a never ending frustration brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

My case is getting pretty problematic.
I like the design. But everything look very big, I mean the texts, icons, status bar… I think the design will looks better with icons little smaller, also the text.
And Shona is eating for two just now Between @Shona and @Scott it’s looking great. It’s not enough we redefine privacy, it has to be easier and sharper than normal apps, so this is more important than we realise. It has to be click and better experience, anything less is a fail. So this is something @Viv is 100% focussed on and his team needs to grow and then the core/app devs all become one, if they are not already. Anyway the main thing at the moment is wee @Shona keeps eating those oranges
Seriously though we need to provide simplicity speed and ease of use, no weird installs or setup, the goal is no install and obvious to use. It’s as important as all the ‘clever’ parts, if not more important. this differentiator is super underestimated by technical people. We will not make that mistake! I particularly love it as it’s outside my area of awareness and many more people will take up the rains. so amazing times coming, where I am a mere infant and that is an incredible goal for me, personally. When folk see how wide ranging we are as a project it will show great strength, I like that.
Safecoin will be an enabler and a simple one, this will have consequences that will only make it a very strong characteristic of the network and I am sure it’s use will surprise all of us.

I thought I’d give all of you a small update on the launcher UI and also say a little hello!
For those of you that don’t know, I joined MaidSafe back in February and since then @Shona and I’ve been working hard creating the UI mockups for Launcher! You can see all the work we’ve done here on Github and on JIRA!
Lol, I like the login failure animation! It’s great. The easy-to-use and easy-to-understand privacy setting look great too! Now I won’t need to worry about adding an app, just about allowing it access to my data.
