Could be good to think about a talk of the history of the development in last two years as a community member looking on. Been quite a ride (to say the least) and many changes / updates etc. Moving on now with tests and iterations shows great progress and for all to see. It took a long time to get here though and folk may want to know how?
Funny you mention thatā¦I might just have the perfect talk forming on that very subject matter
will follow the thread, I will try to organise to be in London :))
Iād be more than happy to help facilitate a more regular meetup. I went to the July meetup and it was my first intro to the Safe Network, so have a steep learning curve ahead of me. My angle is the more I help, the more I learn!
I co-organise the āLinuxing in Londonā meetup which is the last Tuesday of every month at Skillsmatter. Theyāre located by Liverpool Street & Moorgate Stations and have us at least until November.
Project Safe could be something that aligns with the venueās engineering focus, but certainly precise location should be flexible for now. If we were devise a basic content/event strategy that would be an effective start?
Iāll be back in London in a week and a half or so, if anyone wants help putting something on, or just grab drinks or anything! Always great to meet more SAFErs & talk SAFE!
In case you havenāt seen it, the last event that I spotted in London seemed to be this with Spandan Sharma from 2nd May, though missed it and Iāve not had time to look at the video:
Building the SAFE Network in Rust
Looks like a useful location but I donāt know how many people saw that or attended.
