No razors here… The baldness would be a direct symptom of following MAID’s price with tense exhilaration :joy:

You do you mate, but you’ll probably make yourself a target once the token trades at a few $ with that info plus other stuff out there about you already. Sounds really creepy I know.

Same for anyone here, keep your stack under the radar and keep safe

US is not just supposedly, but actually a democratic country. Unfortunately for its subjects, democracy is not much related to freedom of choice. Socialistic regulation? Yeah, it will be just worse with time. History shows democracy tends to socialism (understand growing and caring state) with various speed.

Yes…add to that the constant Q&A from the ones who bought because i sold them the project past few years hahahaha. But this recent price increase has been a blessing. I hope we get BETA soon

Does “Test net” = Beta? Or is Beta somewhere past the Test net?

Also to respond to fredbone, agree we are becoming US subjects vice US citizens. :disappointed:

I seem to remember reading something along the lines of Fleming, Maxwell and then Beta, but then also that once a stable test net is released, it would just be built upon?

Thanks metoo! Just making sure I get the dumb questions outta the way.

The test net != Beta. The whole Fleming, Maxwell, Beta piece is a little convoluted, because they kind of ended up mashing Fleming and Maxwell together in a lot of places. If they finish getting the farming implemented for the test net, I’d say it is closer to what would generally be considered an Alpha. It is more or less feature complete, but it isn’t stable and could still take some major reworking of features based on test findings. A Beta is more like a true attempt at a working network that doesn’t require major reworking, while still needing to squash some bugs.

I thought they weren’t releasing the public test net because they’re running internal tests and making sure there’s no need for major reworking? Which is what I love. Don’t release until you get it right. Hence why they haven’t released the public test net since the December announcement. But if there is a chance for major reworking anyway, shouldn’t the test net be released as soon as possible to find out where the team stands?

We’re still bughunting, but prog/logic bugs and not design bugs per se’ I don’t see any need for any more major rework at all. We are Ok there now.

Interesting. So would you say you are only few iterated test nets out from what you would consider a true “Beta” or is that still a ways down the road? If you are saying you only see the need to squash prog/logic bugs, but the design is sound, it sounds to me like a Beta is close.

Me too, Reward flow still not complete but close. Upgrades not fully implemented but apart from that it’s bugs and finalise the data consistency and we are off. A last minute DBC may appear if we’re lucky and that just speeds things up considerably. Let’s see but yes my opinion is we are almost feature complete as of now.

This testnet is slow to appear as it does include a ton of moving parts, we have never had all these features in any previous test, so it’s a bit of a bugger to see some silly bugs, but they are always silly after you spot them   In any case we are in a great place. I feel when this stabalises beta will follow quickly. I just  it’s not much longer because we all need this.

Awesome, I was still under the impression that there were two major releases before Beta.

Given how long its been between releases before that made me think Beta was really a long, long way off still, so its exciting to hear that it may be kind of close to that stage.

Music to my ears!!! Who’s ready to party? :tada: :dancer:t5: :confetti_ball:

Holy cow! I’ll refrain from getting too excited just yet but so comforting to hear DBC is still on the menu and upgrades aren’t too far out of reach near term!

It’s been long planned though I won’t do it until after beta but it sounds like I’ll be getting the Safe Network logo tattooed on my forearm sooner than expected.

That’s when it becomes real to me. Will be my first tattoo.
