its surprisingly easy using uni swap @Dimitar is right every one should be using DEX exchanges.
just set up a test wallet put Ā£20 in it and play around with it till you get the hang of it before you play with your main wallet.

At the moment, I can swap Emaid directly in Ledger Live wallet. Will this also be possible for ANT do you think?

Ledger live uses 1inch and changelly for trading, so it will also support the Ant token.

it means there are two dex for emaid?

Obviously, Iā€™m not criticizing DEXs, but as you said, a CEX is still necessary to buy USDC and transfer it to the DEX. For people who arenā€™t very familiar with crypto and want to acquire the networkā€™s token, it will be an additional barrier. In fact, Iā€™ve been in crypto for years, and the first time I used a DEX was precisely to acquire EMAID. Now I like them and prefer them over a CEX, but I used to avoid them out of fear. Whether we like it or not, we need high-volume CEXs if we want the launch to be successful.

I understand what you meanā€¦and maybe at some point ANT will be listed on a CEX.
But as you know, if there is no private keyā€¦the crypto is not yours.
If one understands that, which is first classā€¦why want a CEX???
One has been maintaining oneā€™s anonymity for yearsā€¦so that overnight I have to transfer my private data to a centralized entity??
Excuse me?
What chapter have I missed?

When we talk about Dex, we mean two things - an address on Ethereum with special smart contract functions and someoneā€™s server with a user interface.

The Ethereum address can be used by anyone and the Ledger uses two intermediary servers that access the Ethereum address. The Ethereum address in this case is the eMAID/ USDC pool and is used by all intermediaries with a server and user interface. Thatā€™s why itā€™s not 2, but all Dexes for eMAID.

But for someone with ZERO crypto, especially zero erc20 how are they supposed to get USDC

This will be the case with all the new people wanting to use Autonomi with zero experience with crypto

All you showed was swapping again.

That is the question how are people to do that? chicken and egg. Have to have crypto to swap crypto

First you start a node and wait to receive ANT. Second the Foundation uses the current ERC-4337 wallet abstraction solution or we wait for one of the other upcoming abstraction solutions: EIP-3074, EIP-5806, and EIP-7702

You mean people can get free gas coins?

I was meaning how does a person do swaps to get plenty of ANT to do stuff. Nodes wonā€™t be enough to upload a personā€™s files if they are large.

Also how does a person pay for uploads without the GAS coins.

Its fine if earning tokens running nodes does not need gas for the person earning them. But then they need GAS to spend them on uploads. Which is what Maidsafe have indicated, that we will need gas

My whole point was how does one get USDC to do swaps? You said it only need USDC to do DEX swaps.

The confusion comes from the fact that technologically it is possible to use any ERC20 token for gas not only USDC. So yes Gas is necessary, but it can be paid with ANT.

That is, when you want to sell ANT for USDC you pay the transaction in ANT gas from your point of view, from the networkā€™s point of view the gas is paid by a smart contract whit ETH, its creator can be anyone.

The specific details are too technical for me and I donā€™t know if it is possible to profit from this smart contract and whether there are legal consequences if it is implemented by the Foundation.

Hey @Dimitar is there a way to set the price on uniswap like a sell order on a cex or do you just have to use the swap price?

You can provide liquidity at the price you want to sell at.

In 1inch exchange you can set normal orders.

Must be because Iā€™m on the app there isnt an option for it.

Regarding how under the radar we are now, it is hard to imagine that the becoming boost in our visibility would just leave the price of the coin intact.

There is no limit order in the uniswap front end, use 1inch as @Erwin said. You also have a bonus - the swap transaction is free (but you have one cheaper transaction for authorization, if you sell directly there are 2 transactions for authorization and for the swap)
