I could also do with figuring out use of drives other than the system drive for a Windows laptop I have, and Mac Mini… would be great if it were a simple choice in node-launchpad to choose where to put node storage.

We will get there! Iterating fast on the launchpad, and it is of course a common request.
But we hope the initial version is a step on for those not familiar with the command line

I always try and use GMT regardless.
It’s why my kids have been an hour late to school for months.

Maybe the check for drive resources that node-launchpad does is just to check how much free space there is on the root mountpoint. So while any nodes you can get to launch would have enough space under the mountpoint you created it will only be looking at the main drive.
I think you are right. The good news is it that they are working to fix this for launchpad. I’m looking forward to that.
