Can the LaunchPad users see peer count?

I have one node with a ridiculous number of GETS 35,497 and PUTS 1,846 compared to the others. And a couple of other nodes which stand out on the same stat. They look ok on some measures but have not been asked to quote from the look of it.

Any interest @qi_ma?

Hi Folks! We have a new version of our node up and released for all! v108.3

This should improve the Network performance overall, solving some of the issues around relay nodes (which allow people to connect from home) which were slowing things up.

TIME TO RESET YOUR NODES!

What you need to do…If you are a Node Launchpad user, you’ll need to:

  1. Press [Ctrl + R] and type reset and press enter
  2. This will go and update to latest node software behind the scenes, clearing out all the old data.
  3. You’ll need to add and start your nodes again using [Ctrl + G]
  • Note: If you do not already have your Discord Username set up on the launchpad, you will lose your Nanos held on your device. But any nanos already sent in are just fine.

If you are using the node-manager via the CLI, then the upgrade command should grab the latest version for you.

EDIT: I’ve been informed that the upgrade command should not be used in this case, as some nodes may not be able to restart. It’s a buf that will be fixed by an upcoming release.

Please use update and reset instead.

2.) Restart PowerShell (Windows users only)
3.) safenode-manager reset
4.) safenode-manager add --count <# of nodes> --owner
5.) safenode-manager start --interval 300000

I’ve been running the latest 0.108.3 since 30 minutes now, and I already collected more than 50000 errors. Which rank does that put me in the leaderboard for errors?

My nodes haven’t received any nanos yet, will they be credited after the reset? How can I check if I have nanos or if they will be delayed? I’m checking ‘/rank’ on Discord, but the bot says I haven’t received any rewards for the nodes I’ve run.

And the node doesn’t have any records stored? bit weird.
Could you send me the logs? thx

I have two machine running 50 nodes each. The reset seems stuck. It has been 15 minutes on each machine and still at “Resetting node…”. How long does this reset take?

I reset, restarted the computer and added the nodes but nothing happens when I press control + s. On the same computer with the node manager I am able to start nodes when I add a peer.

Before the upgrade, the reset worked immediately, so even if you have 50 nodes on the device, it should take a while, clearly something is not working. What system were you resetting the nodes on?

Okay it looks like they’ve finished reseting. I just got out of the shower and they are I think done. Just took a long time. Running Ubuntu 24

I never get any records showing on vdash. Only puts and some gets. I just started some fresh nodes after the upgrade. If I check the logs / record store u do see files in there. Does that mean I should be seeing records in vdash?

I’m having the exact same problem

Might be obvious, but Did you restart vdash, after adding new nodes? That might help.

Yes I did. I never see any records showing in vdash.
