I think AI is really cool and is definitely increasing profitability for companies … but … are revenues by AI companies EVER going to justify the cap-ex? It seems an absurdity right now with billions being invested but with 2 orders of mag. less in revenue.
I get that revenues will certainly increase over the next many years, but cap-ex will also need to continue apace to remain competitive … the math really obviously doesn’t seem to work. And I’m not talking 1+1=3 … we’re talking 1+1000=3 … it seems to be some sort of market insanity.
