I’ve added some comments. Tried to do this a day ago on one of the threads you started, but it booted my comment - I guess I don’t have enough karma or something. Hopefully it will stick this time.

Thanks for getting the word out!

Thanks. I’ll keep trying when I have some time. I’m thinking a great in-depth comparison of storage projects would be a great post for r/cc. If anyone has any good info on that it be good to use.

It’s the perfect time to be doing this because there is a massive influx of new and old people on the forums.

Some great responses from the community here. I’m a long term supporter, but not being a technical person have been unsure how to assist.

I’m upvoting and liking like crazy but any other suggestions welcome!

Endgame for end-to-end encryption

We have known for many years that it was not a matter of if, but when, the UK government and Home Office would seek to restrict the use of encryption. Their intentions have been publicly stated for quite some time, alongside similar gestures by other countries in the Five Eyes surveillance alliance.

Today’s Wired piece suggests that this move on encryption is now imminent. The secrecy which surrounds the legal and technical measures which government may be considering is unsustainable, given the widespread, public and international effects that would follow. Transparency, engagement, and communication are essential.

War on maths?

That is exactly what it is. They can’t win, but war is hell, regardless of who wins or loses. All math or formal logic is is really distilled common sense. So what we have is a War on common sense. Let that sink in.

Great video! I hope Andreas checks out the test net when it goes live. I suspect he will find it interesting to explore the novel solutions.

I drove by an Amazon warehouse today, all smart and Amazon looking, people dotted about having a break. Each alone, sitting, standing, glum staring at me as I drove past, or into the distance.

An incredibly sad scene, nothing like their ads. Like waiting for death.
