11 year anniversary of the publication of Collateral Murder today, the video leaked to Wikileaks revealing USA soldiers gunning down civilians from choppers, while laughing and joking about it. Including journalists and children, none of them armed. Civilians coming to help the wounded dragging themselves to cover were fired on.
Julian Assange, the publisher, hasn’t seen a day of freedom in ten years. He hasn’t been charged with anything except a minor bail violation (he had received political asylum from Ecuador at the time) and is accused of no crime currently.
Judge has ruled that he can’t be extradited to the US, and yet he remains in a maximum security prison designed for murderers and terrorists in Belmarsh. UN special rapporteur on cruel and arbitrary detention, Nils Melzer, has called it torture and said he is a political prisoner.
I read a report a few weeks ago from Stella Morris, his partner, saying that he had been finally given a laptop with access to some court documents. A ‘read-only’ laptop with no internet access, of course; all text editors deleted, and the keyboard taped down, to stop him writing.
Tony Blair, George Bush, Dick Cheney, etc, all still at large.

You can download a list of videos and images, but they are not sorted at all, just filename (string of characters) and file size, and metadata in the case of video. I checked out a few at random and they were mostly just InfoWars and Fox News footage plus some vinatage Holocaust denial archive and a few phone videos from Jan 6th. Needle in a haystack stuff without the proper tools.
