Love the phone backup solution. And one for desktop too! Actually Duplicati could probably integrate autonomi quite nicely once autonomi is stable. I bet the team would help, they have sia and multiple other storage options already,.

Given that the network is due to go live soon, I find myself wondering what the on-ramp will be for the average person. I mean, unless youâre a real techie, running a node is kind of boring. Are there any apps that are ready for the general public, in the sense of being plug-and play?

I think you answered your own question there. The average person wonât be the target for early adoption. We need devs who believe in the vision to build apps for people to use first - that canât/wonât all be on maidsafe to do.
