Update on the HitBTC exchange not releasing MAID tokens

Has anything been achieved to resolve the problem with MAID tokens not being released from the HitBTC exchange?

Sorry to tell you but I would not count on those coins ever getting released again. I’ve done everything I can and I know rusty has made several attempts too.

The only “hope“ there is is that they’re missing some MAID (as indicating by a forum member depositing maid but never credited right before they disabled the wallet) and they’re just waiting for some accounts to enter the no trade window of 6 months so they’re “allowed” to force liquidate $50 worth of MAID, maybe that will get there maid balance back to the 1:1 ratio and they’ll reenable. It’s far fetched, but I do not see any other way to get that wallet reenabled.

I still have 560 Maid tokens, over and above the tokens I sent to sell, which are visible in my HitBTC account along with a small amount of DOGE tokens. I can view the tokens by logging in to my account, but I can’t do anything with them as UK residents are blocked by the exchange. The tokens I sent to sell are still in the wallet I sent them to on the HitBTC exchange, but I guess that’s where they’ll remain as HitBTC either can’t access the wallet or aren’t prepared to release the MAID from the wallet back to me. It’s over a year ago since I sent the tokens to sell when the price was at 50 pence. They were worth a lot of money then and what I was going to buy when I sold them did a 7x shortly after, so I lost even more than the MAID token value. Small amounts of MAID token are still being traded on the HitBTC exchange, which I find weird given what’s happened.
