ok well I just mean where I would buy it OTC personally. It would have to be a substantial discount to just HODL til final. I mean like at least 33% or I might as well have done the loan deal.
That would mean, more for You, less for developersâŚI doubt that this is what we would like to see
I had the same situation with another OG omni coin, AGRS (tauchain) when it was delisted from bittrex, it lost most of the value, dark times ahead if we donât have a legit exchange soon.
On the other hand, I bought all my MAID on HitBTC and never had a problem other than high fees.
But wonât deny its a dodgy exchange.
Look into this new dex: www.faa.st
I think it would be a great option to get Maid listed there.
lol I wish the market would always do what I would like to see but it is a beast no one controls.
at least whale popped back up and offered to buy everyoneâs bag for 500 To me that is a good idea of what to expect for an OTC price. With that you donât have the power of a never ending auction. It would have to be whatever price someone with a lot to invest would buy it all.
So, bittrex and hitbtc are the primary options now. At least after end of Jan.
It is a shame to have another distraction like this for the project, but MAID to BTC is the easy bit. Getting from BTC to fiat is the hard part and that is solved.
My worry is not about traders or even investors buying/selling, but more about Maidsafe themselves. The price post-Fleming has a lot going for it. Letâs see how this pans out - time foe those other exchanges to step up.
have to wait and see if they find the liquidity. Iâd be willing to trade on trex if anyone else was.
"If you want the price of a thing to go up higher, itâs nice to shake out the weak hands that would have sold on the way up. Better to keep more supply in the hands of guys that just wonât sell.
Not financial advice. Just pointing out market dynamics."
Well, someone is getting some cheap coins tonight anyway! Ha! I have a feeling a few people will be wishing they had loaded up come 24h.
ya maybe⌠would not be the first time polo delisting = massive profits to shuttle the action over to trex. Those coins already had a good base of traders there though. Iâll wait to see how far this goes. At some point I would call FUD and buy it. Still holding my trigger though haha.
Weak hands have been shook out for 2 years already. Sure others may leave but not in exodus. Iâm kind of surprised how the community feels very ho hum about this. Even if you donât think we need more exchanges, which I think is a poor opinion, the sinking price is directly hurting the companies ability time to deliver. The only thing I can say is that the only singular good side is that the price plummets and now the company has no choice but to actually deliver something in say 6 months and see if they can keep upgrading as price rises and funds become avaliable.
well we did just pass -33%. If you were sad you missed the loan deal buying now and withdrawing to a wallet is like the exact same thing⌠plus if a new market emerges you can go trade again!
Not far till 0
Maid survived delistings before. Will it survive this one?
There are a few on here who would like nothing more than people panicking and pointing to the sky falling, but what will that achieve? Will it get code written any quicker? Will it assure the team that they are appreciated? No, it will achieve the opposite.
I, like many others, want the project to succeed. I see that this is bad news, but there are other exchanges out there. Moreover, exchanging from MAID to BTC doesnât require anything fancy - it is just a direct trade of goods, with no interface to banking system etc needed. It shouldnât be expensive or risky to do, but the liquidity gravitates to one place, which is now no longer poloniex.
The last time I used poloniex, I couldnât even sell to GBP and transfer to my account. I had to sell to BTC and then transferred to fiat via bitstamp (long standing account there). If poloniex donât want the bother any more, that is easy fees for some other exchange and I hope one of the others step up to encourage it - they have just been gifted a load of business.
This is sinking like a stone and although price may mean very little now the fact that no market exists is a major issue.
