Yes! And the dip looks like a common pattern: BTC starts rising, people sell MAID to get BTC. This is always limited, so buy now, this will reverse. No one serious about MAID is selling at these prices, only buying! Cheers

And watch out for the manipulators wanting cheaper MAID who are also around adding fear to try and get weak hands to sell cheap so they can buy cheaper. Rarely happens here since we usually spot the crap quickly. I can still remember the guy claiming MAID would be at 2000 or below and that claim was IIRC a year ago.

Remember what they sold for in the ICO? If you expect them to get close to that again, I have to wonder why.
The ICO took place at a similar time in the last bust cycle - maybe a little earlier, but hardly. At the time Bitcoin was worth a fraction of its current value.
With the all the source code, successful alphas, mobile interface, community network, PARSEC, etc, all here now - offering vastly more than at the ICO - along with a team several times larger and far more capable⌠seriously, you think it is worth no more?
Maybe I am the crazy one, but at record low BTC prices and only a few multiples from ICO in USD, it looks like a total bargain to me.
It feels like a dump, which will shortly get a pump. Lots of familiar faces were saying the same thing in the last dump too.

Anything is possible.
The question should really be, is it likely?
I think that until there is a working beta, there will be naysayers and doom and gloom merchants. The crypto world has burnt a lot of people and until time blurs this memory, or another BTC boom, investors are being very careful. I am just waiting for the day Maid can break the BTC joint at the hip relationship and can stand on its own feet. Till then I will keep adding to my holdings.

I canât see this happening. Conventional stock market wisdom would say that whatever causes MAID to fall to $0.03 would take it swiftly to $0.00. I donât see any potential cause for this in the near future in crypto. Most are holding onto thier coin, and others are waiting for the right time to buy; especially beacuse we are likely to get alpha 3 this year, which greatly de-risks the principal tech for the network.

I think the network will be delivered and will be a success. No doom and gloom there. No doom and gloom on the safecoin price long term either.
At the moment the maidsafe token is too heavily dependent on the bitcoin price movements, seems to be taking it down.
Could also the majority of maidsafe holders be just general crypto traders who have no deep understanding or this project, probably not looked deep enough to realise this is not just another blockchain project so more likely to apply general trading and ship jumping financial instincts.
In token form, I wouldnât be unhappy with a further price drop. A price rise would definitely also make me very happy.
