when safe gets the interest it deserves (soon) how would it play out to those who just found out it and wants to purchase some coins for any reason?
who’s really gonna want to sell if we have had the strongest hodlers?
there’s also only two exchanges and they are not US friendly. wouldn’t that cause a liquidity issue really fast? which in turn would cause the price to go up?

Don’t worry, there are enough people willing to sell. Few people have bought thousands and thousands of tokens to use the Safe Network for the rest of their physical lives. Most people have a price at which they will sell - under $100, under $1,000, under $10,000 …

Hi all, I have a question … I used simpleswap to convert maids to BTC and send them to my BTC address from the address on omniwallet. The whole transaction has been going on for a couple of hours now so I’m wondering what are your experiences with waiting on transaction on simpleswap?
Never used simpleswap, but I’d imagine your txid should show something here by now.

I’ve used it a few times. Shouldn’t be a couple of hours I don’t think - make sure to keep note of your transaction ID… Sometimes transactions can fail and you may need to contact support. It might fail due to price fluctuations BTW.

Mine has been good in the past. However, I just used it and it’s been about 48 hours. Says “exchanged” but stuck on sending. They say there is congestion at binance. Really frustrating but they keep assuring me funds are safe.
what price do you wait MAID can have? I first think it can be a lot of, by then I realized 450m isnt maximum supply. So, what exactly price do you wait? thanks
I’ve had a few trades get stuck. They have always come through on the customer service end. If you open a ticket they will get back to you quickly.
I have to agree it is pain to use these services.

Maidsafecoin was in the top 10 before, but people lost interest as time went by and development turned into a lengthy grind. Development appears to be firing on all cylinders now, so watch out once a stable testnet is out in the wild!

IMHO
If it’s used just as dropbox, $1
…if it’s used as an uncensorable myspace $3
…if it’s used as an uncensorable web $10 + add some percentage of ETH’s market cap and keep adding based on penetration.
…if SAFE gets traction as a currency… multiply by 2 to 10+
…+ a whole bunch of other uses could add value. SAFE can exchange tokens, be a secure email, a transparent wiki, a better facebook…
We’ll know a whole lot more about what it can be when we get the next testnet.
TLDR: It is undervalued at its lowest use case, which we know it can achieve. Until the testnet works, I am happy to buy until 50c (have been monthly for years). If/when the testnet works, there is a LOT of blue sky here.
