I think it’s much more intresting to see what the actual liquid supply ratio is. Personally I feel like over 50% of the tradeable MAID has been converted to EMAID by now. People in MAID either hodl till network launch, lost access or are locked at closed exchanges (poloniex 10 mil, bittrex 8 mil are just 2 examples of the long list of exchanges).
EMAID is definitely where the liquidity is and will be.

Maybe at the moment, but if there would be listing of MAID in one of the top exchanges, I think there would be trading of it too.

I thought the omni protocol made it hard for exchanges to add maid. At least back in 2018…

I think the chances of an exchange listing (especially top tier) for maid are close to 0%. The protocol is outdated, the one way bride makes it an asset that liquidity will slowly continue to move out of, it’s an absolute pain to integrate and maintain the omni protocol (many exchanges stopped supporting omni usdt for that reason) and maybe more importantly, the team had informed the community to stop actively persue any omni listings and shift focus towards emaid.
