How might delisting of MAID affect the price of eMAID?
I also wonder about eMAID being treated differently by Maidsafe in terms of snapshot or burn. IMO, it seems like burning eMAID might be the easier method, but that would perhaps be something the foundation could do after launch. This would also allow eMAID to continue to trade though the transition to SNT.

Its better not to announce the exact time of the snapshot, from what i understand. People will game it somehow (im not familiar with how they actually do it). Ill see if i can find where i was reading that.
But in the other projects i was involved with, they refused to announce a specific time; just said some time within such and such timeframe. Usually 24-48 hour window.
You absolutely have to advance announce the snap shot time. Otherwise claims of insider profit making will abound and could even catch the eye of authorities.
Not to mention the people out there because they have to know when to stop trading, without the announcement there is no way P2P buy/sell or DEX markets know when to stop or lose anything they buy
Think not announcing snapshot date is mainly done in crypto to avoid airdrop farmers etc. from gaming stuff.
The difference here is the purpose of the snapshot and the consequences if one buys after it. The person loses all they bought, the MAID of course and the coin they used to buy the worthless MAID.

Well, it wouldn’t surprise if Maidsafe.net Ltd are the ones offering at 70c. Would make total sense. I am certain that you cant pay the bills in MAID or EMAID … yet.
I didnt say not to announce at all. Just not a specific time. Buyers would know when to stop trading; during the window of time. People willing to accept that higher risk, of course, still do.
Theres no difference in purpose or consequence with what im referring to. Its the same exact thing. Migration to a different token.
This makes a lot of sense. Delist and snapshot MAID, but continue to trade and ultimately burn the eMAID.

Not sure why it asks you for a network, the default network (and not selectable) is ERC20. Are you using an ethereum address?
