My plan was to take some profit on some prices regulery and then invest to SP500 (or similiar world index), its this wise? Now as I writing this I get thought that if really maid can handle fiat? transaction (and will be without fee for payment) then I will still have time to exit sp500 position, its probably for years and I will see it if this tendency will happen no. Thanks

Just leaving this here so it can be referred to in a few weeks

@Toivo

Stay strong and if you possibly can, don’t sell any MAID for at least a couple of weeks.
Hope you get shit sorted

Thanks! :heartbeat:

For sure I don’t need to sell them all in that timeframe. Maybe some, maybe not.

To be honest, I have not been paying much attention to emaid.

However I have recently noticed that the price is sometimes higher for maid, and sometimes higher for emaid, or one or the other is lower, and I don’t understand why, if both represent the same coin?

Obviously when more people by or sell one or the other, the price will logically fluctuate.

But what I’m getting at is when it comes time to exchange both maid and emaid for the future network coin, and one or the other has more or less value, does this mean the owner of either coin will get more or less return on there investment.

Can any one explain this? Am I missing something simple? Thanks

It makes no difference to the return, only to the cost (buy price).

That is because of inefficiencies in the market, low real volume and the cost of buying + transaction cost and risk of sudden price changes. MAID could get higher because there is no way of moving cheap Emaid to sell for higher Maid. If interest is high then Emaid and Maid should represent the same price given you can transfer one to the other. No rational investor would buy higher price, increasing demand for lower price until they both are even.

That you are not able to transfer Emaid to Maid makes for a not fair market for arbitrage.

i wonder when all the development positivity will start to be reflected in the price.

I would suspect folk are hesitant, we have thought in the past we were there so this time we need to prove it. I am looking forward to this, a lot. We have been too long in the investigating and trying things stage.

Can I still convert oMaids into eMaids? or has the ship sailed?

Yes you can.

Yeah, Altcoinomy’s website’s SSL expired. I’m not about to put any personal info on that!

logic has its limits  volume is a oddity too… the difference in markets make the graphing overview that coinmarketcap uses look wild
the drop atm to Ā£0.111 is ETH and all for Ā£61.57…

not that it matters in the medium and longterm but not ideal for drawing new interest… or perhaps its the opposite and does attract attention… at least by those who think they can play volatility as a game.

That’s probably one of the reasons, but not many outside of this community know about the project. So without spreading the gospel to outsiders there won’t be much change in the price.

I disagree, many people know about the project. Not everyone has the patience to sit through years of development but we already see old ā€œfacesā€ popping up this will increase as we progress through the tests.
