I sent this message to coingecko:
“Maid and emaid are the representation of the same coin under different Blockchains: maid for Omni (Bitcoin) and emaid for Ethereum. The exchange is only possible from Omni to eth, so the supply will always be the same as the Genesis for maid in Omni, which is 452,552,412 (so around 0,452 American billions). You can find the source for it here: Updated: RFC 0061 — Safe Network Token Distribution which is linked from the whitepaper: https://primer.safenetwork.org/ Maid and emaid are only a temporary token till the safe network is released. At that time, each maid/emaid will be exchanged 1:1 for the coin, called sent, whose supply will be 4,294,967,296 (2^32 or around almost 4.3 American billions, as expected equal or greater than maid/emaid supply). Last but not least, whenever a token is sent from Omni to eth, the one in Omni gets burnt. There’s no transformation possible from eth to Omni. Long story short: please fix emaid supply to be changed to 452,552,412 (0.452 American billions), you’re only accounting for tokens in the eth chain (emaid) and omitting maid in Omni chain (which are most of them). Hope the explanation was clear enough otherwise please let me know.”
their answer:
"Thanks for reaching out.
Please inform the project team to reach out to us directly regarding this issue."
So, has anyone done so? If the answer is yes, I’ll tell them so, otherwise, maybe worth doing.
