Clarification on the Reward Structure

Clarification on the Reward Structure:
Wave 1 has ended, and Waves 2 and 3 will conclude on September 27th, marking 10 weeks for Wave 2 and 5 weeks for Wave 3. :ocean:

  • Wave 1: 250K tokens * 2.5 multiplier = 625K tokens over 175 participants
  • Wave 2: 750K tokens * 1.5 multiplier = 1.125M tokens over 721 participants
  • Wave 3: 500K tokens * 1 multiplier = 500K tokens over 500 participants

Total Reward Allocation: 2.25M tokens :fire:

We are working on a /token command for Discord that will display each user’s total expected token allocation. This will be complete by Monday.

Please note: The posted leaderboard in Discord does not include the multipliers. For Wave 1, add your tokens from each week in the leaderboard together and multiply by 2.5 for your expected token allocation.

Why did wave 2 start on 750k? Was this human error?

If it was 500k, that would mean that Wave 3 was being rewarded more per person then Wave 2. This adjustment was made to make it fair.

Do you know what happens to the people who didn’t try to run nodes rewards?

Our current accounting on the spreadsheet is adjusted for cheaters and such.

So all the people in wave 2 earning 58 tokens a week are all running nodes or attempting to run nodes?

Fantastic stuff :sunglasses:

I do not have the answer for that.

We can’t know for sure (privacy project innit) but what we can say is some (maybe many, maybe all) will have, so it’s not right to chop them out.

Thanks for the honesty, bux said there was some kind of mechanism in place to see who was trying to freeload, just curious what happens to the freeloaders tokens.

I was not a part of that process other then reporting suspicious join activity in discord,
but I am aware that over 30 accounts were purged due to cheating recently.

I have one thought about this incentive program. People, who benefited the most are the ones, that didn’t really help in testing. The ones, that earned 0 nanos are the “true heroes” for me, because they struggled the most, seeked for help, spotted what is not working, highlighted places, where documentation and UI/UX and design is lacking.
