Will this kind of attack be possible on Maidsafe?

I don’t think so, this was allowed in TOR as exit nodes are a point of attack. In SAFE we stay in SAFE so we are not susceptible to this sort of attack.

@dirvine is right – because Tor is backward-compatible with the current Internet, it inevitably inherits some of its shortcomings (and in this case arguably amplifies them).

There should be a thorough test and penetration done on the network as we go on, in fact bounties should be setup for attempts at a success attack vector.

I suggested the same a while ago. Crowdcurity.com would be a nice solution.

Maybe we should have MaidSafe Attackathons each 6 months, that way the network stays on the cutting edge…
