What’s up today? (Part 2)

Our lives have increasingly gone digital, and for good reason. But there’s a recent push for analog computers, something that sounded insane to me on the surface. Digital computers are so powerful and multi-purpose, but as I did the research for this video, I had that light bulb moment, and this is HUGE. So what on earth are we going to use analog computers for?

I’ve been following their progress over the last couple of years and good strides are being made. They still seem a long distance from being general purpose though - more attuned to being used for specialties.

I used to use analogue computers back in the 70’s.

Used a far bit in Engineering fields.

Even our calculators were analogue without the need for electricity

Starlink satellites with Direct to Cell capabilities enable ubiquitous access to texting, calling, and browsing wherever you may be on land, lakes, or coastal waters.

Direct to Cell will also connect IoT devices with common LTE standards.

Yes, todays launch (yesterday for US) saw 6 of those satellites included in the launch. Testing the system out I’d say

No its a joint deal with a mobile phone telecommunication company. At least that was the public announcement a year or two ago.

Maybe later it will expand to other countries and other telecommunication companies.

There are a lot of research projects that hope to be the next silicon, but this one has a decent chance of being it I reckon. After a decade of work, they are getting close.

Rumor is that a favorable SEC announcement on the BTC ETF(s) coming Friday. Hope everyone has stacked their Sats.

Ah yes, the most reliable of rumours…

Rumors aside all the meetings that the SEC are having with participants makes me think that approvals are imminent.

But then again, could that be the goal. Just to appear as though they are acting in good faith.

I am waging on approval though.
