What’s up today? (Part 2)

The blu-ray edition of season one of Silicon Valley must have been released recently as it’s trending at the top on torrent galaxy today.

If there is one thing that terrifies me more than anything right now it’s the possibility that a well known coin with a centralized dev team will fork SAFE and integrate their own token stealing all our thunder.

I think it’s only a very tiny percent chance of it happening, but who knows who may have been lurking on this forum for years plotting just such a coup.

The Great Pyramid of Giza was built around 4,500 years ago. If you had $500,000 every day since then, you would have:

$500,000/day * 4,500 years * 365 days/year = $826 billion.

SNT for the win!!!

When I grow up I want to be this man!

It’s the growing up that stops us being this man :joy:

Exactly! that glimpse of him grinning from ear to ear shows he is doing it right.

As Hunter Thompson said,

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”

A thought about a future SAFE LLM occurred to me this evening. Given the fact that SAFE acts as an always available database, an LLM built with it could developed to use it as part of it’s knowledge base. So instead of building an all-inclusive LLM file, it could possibly be built with pointers to the actual data on the network instead - or at least partially so; and then to access/use that data when developing it’s responses.

I think that such would increase it’s accuracy when responding to queries as well as reduce the relative size of the specific LLM database.

I don’t think this can be done with the existing Internet as data may or may not be where it was when the LLM was generated, but with SAFE it’s guaranteed.

I would expect that such would make LLM queries dramatically slower however. Still it’s an interesting idea.

Maybe there is more here - perhaps there is a way to decentralize the LLM itself or even allow it to grow/change over time with appendable data.

The UK has no shame… aligned in all the wrong directions…

Never forget the errors of judgement, though there are many.

The only hope on the world is for individual autonomy, that can challenge corruption directly. Otherwise the conceited, selfish, greedy, arrogant, and bigoted will continue to rot everyone’s experience and hamper progress to a better world … let them eat humbugs :honeybee:

Still … hope you all have a great xmas :christmas_tree::+1:
