You’re probably right there

So the audits are worthless

Well, a trigger guard is also useless if you give a gun to a child…

I wouldn’t call this an exchange…isn’t it just a contract? I didn’t read about this one but I think yearn is a set of contracts that automate yield farming.

Yup. Buyer beware. Must be lovely for the scammers that there are so many fools with so much money though. If it weren’t for my morals I’d go into it myself

I’m sure you’re right. I haven’t looked into it. Even so…

wow … did he post that before or after. Sucks to lose that kinda change. I speak from experience - I was scammed big time years ago by a fake BTC mining rig website. Let’s just say that if I had all those BTC today, I’d be living the good life. ;-( … well at least I can say, lesson learned.

indeed … I’ve been a fool in the past, I suspect others here have too. It’s maybe human nature.

Not necessarily. Audits could, for example, show whether the components that limit what can happen to funds are correct and final, that is, without any means to subsequently weaken them.

For example, if there’s an append-only list of checks that are executed sequentially and only if all are passed would a transaction execute, that’s a pretty good sign whatever checks are there now would be honored in the future too.

This was actually done by a human…

Hihi StorJ

What’s the business model there? Is that open to everyone or to a selection, of folks who signed up but haven’t uploaded much.

And how long is that free?

I was too late to claim it, so the link doesn’t work anymore. My only storage solution is SAFE Network I’m not trying to get distracted. Focus Happybeing soon we’ll all be SAFED

You didn’t miss much, it was free for 1 month, if I’m not mistaken.

Storj had a sale of 50% of their coins 3-4 years ago. The remaining 50% is released in installments every few months. They use them to pay farmers, for advertising in search of business customers - at the moment they are not very successful, although the network has been operating for 1 year.

Customers are few and the pay for farmers is low, but Storj give bonuses so is ok for the farmers.

This can be interesting.

In my opinion, this shows the average mass farmer who will be a potential farmer in our network as well…
