But with divisibility half a puppy is not such a nice mental picture.
Certainly worse than half a Lambo, I concur.
Stick with farming and call them acres… not sure about divisiblity, yards suck.
Reminds me of a Schwarzenegger quote.
I still really like Stacks. If we’re going for a currency like the dollar, euro, bolivar, real, kroner etc. my personal fav is the Amagi (AMAGI).
Or we could always troll everybody and call them nodes, oracles etc.
how about … crops
My plot size is about 50GB, i’m getting a yield of 20 bushels each harvest.
Market demand is great, you can get a lot in return even for just a hand full of ears and husks.
Folks, LAMBO is short for Lamborghini…
We know: https://twitter.com/ElettraLambo, twerking queen.
I suggest we go Star Trek on the name.
Safe Credit
Credits and Micro Credits
Another one I am totally down with. If it’s good enough for Star Wars, it’s good enough for me.
That one’s already taken on coinmarketcap … I actually own some
Not Safe Credits or “Creds”. More than one way to skin a cat. The ticker is honestly probably more important than the name. Monero could have just gone with Monero but went with XMR… bonehead move IMHO. I know a lot of people are really attached to SAFE fill in the blank, but I think we really have to think beyond that.
If we want to change the world we don’t necessarily need to take into account at all what’s ‘taken’ or not - the others will become unimportant enough anyway at some point… And we don’t target blockchain lovers but people who want to get a really usable new internet with privacy and history access baked in
(while ofc early adopters might be an overlapping field… But are Gold diggers really the ‘early adopters’ that want to utilize the network for what it is instead of just hoping for fast money?)
They just adapted to the international standard for currency codes (ISO 4217).
Hardly a bonehead move if they wanted to position Monero as a legitimate alternative currency.
Yes, it’s just a show, but it make sense rolling with the world in as many ways as possible first because it helps acceptance, second because it highlights what actually takes the product apart.
Toshi? It’s like Satoshi just without the “sa” which can be an allegory for being like bitcoin just without a blockchain. Moreover, 都市 means “city” or “urban” so… okay, I’ll stop with the idiotic forced ideologism; it sounds good and that’s about it.
If we’re at Japanese, we could also go with some “noble” sounding (or meaning) stuff like Tenshi or Kenshin. The good thing about Japanese is that, apart from having double consonants and that moraic nasal, they use a very basic set of sounds and the simplest possible syllable structure so whatever they can pronounce probably the rest of the world can too.
Credit is taken, but not Safe Credit.
In that case how about SHENRONS?
