Had some new people, asking things about SAFE, p2p DNS problems and solutions, timelines etc. Good chat.
Sounds like @frabrunelle was busy with a Bitcoin Embassy talk, but thanks for @anon40790172 for sticking with me for the whole 3+ hour chat with everyone!
Also @joseph_meagher was there, and gave a demo of his really impressive Upload App with lots of functionality. Looks like he will make a post explaining it soon.
All in all, great chat, and a great community! Always enjoy these!

Sorry had been busy with flights the last few days, couldnāt do a chat after the update.

Thanks to everyone who joined in the call. Was another great one as always!
Great to see @fergish in person again and say hi, as well as @Joseph_Meagher and @frabrunelle. Talked a bit about general news etc with the first two, and then had a nice long few hour chat with Francis as the highlight.
Was great to break apart the new Authenticator API docs together. Also learned a bunch of things from our discussions about other tech projects (which francis has a real eye for finding), such as Tezos private blockchains, Sia blockchain-based file hosting, Mastadon decentralized Twitter, among others.
Always good to hear about Beaker updates from him as well, as the SAFE Browser is built on this and it is a very interesting and capable project in the decentralization space. Apparently it had a huge update recently, where the DAT protocol (kind of like safe:// but simpler and not anonymous) was integrated and creates a stable way to host and share sites and files with peers in a more distributed way than the traditional client-server model. DAT is traditionally used by large institutions and govts but it sounds like they may soon be able to have more mainstream apps on it, and thatās what groups like the Beaker Browser group are working towards. This RSS Feed is a first step towards that.
Always good to keep an eye on other projects in our space, and learn as many lessons as possible from them. Better info leads to better decisions! Thanks @frabrunelle !

Was a great video call yesterday for the dev update & @Joseph_Meagherās JS demo page. Learned what heās up to with it and it looks simple & to-the-point, using lots of the functions straight off of the MaidSafe APIās. Was great to talk to you guys and @JPL and @Sascha and @frabrunelle and get updated again with community progress. These weekly calls are important!
