I could really use a simple secure cloud backup service.
Could we put together a simple MAID app that does this? I’d pay maid coins to provision the storage.
How about creating a ‘Long term storage’ test net where data gets kept?

Maybe I’m missing something here, but this is what MaidSafe are building, and it doesn’t make sense to me to say: let’s build it now using the test network… when obviously the test network is good enough for testing, but not for data security until MaidSafe get to that point.
But maybe I’m misunderstanding! Often happens

Yeah it’s not an app problem yet,
We’re still waiting for MaidSafe to finish creating a version of the core network that will have permanent storage (not be taken down all the time etc)
So need to wait. Can’t create an app that does this yet, as the network itself doesn’t even do this yet
A tad bit too early maybe, as the network is very unstable and will be Reset over and over again. Other than that, I too would like tohave a convenient Backup/sync solution asa feasible. Couple clicks and you’re Set up. That’s what I prefer.
