Some random coin I have never seen or heard of, XIO, is up 400% in 24 hours and this is the stuff that gets me buzzing. Appears to be some sort of staking/crowdfunding coin, started not that long ago. You see projects like MAID and a handful of others that I follow with real use cases, infrastructure, maybe even partnered with real companies and price doesn’t move. Then there is garbage like this and just moves up 400% like it’s nothing. Feels like the start of 2016 all over again.

I am starting to feel really bearish again though. I don’t see a huge breakout when like everyone in the world is doing worse economically and we haven’t even really felt the full impact of that yet. If we weren’t living in some kinda dystopian novel I would be hyped to see new yearly highs truly. Like it takes a lot to get me in bear mode right after a halving but I would say a lot has indeed happened.

it might shine in a way if they print so much USD that USD is significantly devalued. I would expect maybe then you might see a rise in BTC/USD to balance that out. Maybe it sorta a safe haven.
Rather then think of dollars or bitcoin sometimes its easier to just think of value. We are not making as much new value as we used to be. In fact I would contend we are eating what we stored up prior. I don’t think people are thinking what’s a good store of value right now because they are consuming the value not creating a surplus to stockpile.

With Central Banks printing worldwide at rates never before seen, we will in time see this tidal wave of fiat chase tangibles. When regular Folk throughout the world start to see their monthly earnings disappear I think BTC will spread rapidly as a way to hedge against the printing press. Some will seek gold but the ease of use and storage for BTC makes it ideal for the global citizen with a cellphone seeking refuge from Central Bank printing.
