I bet it has to do with the 12 hour cycle. Maths done for 24 hours then used 12 hour cycles.
The maths is super easy. Subtract emissions given from 10 million and spread the remaining amount across the remaining days. Simply reduce the emissions unit size to make it add up.
Thus no need to change cycle time or process, just the actual emissions unit size. And they have done that once already so it should take minutes to calculate it
( 10 million - (daily emission * days past) ) / days left to get emissions left for the year to be given out each day
Then emissions unit size is ( daily emissions left / 144000 ) for 100 nodes quoted per minute.
I donāt know what @Bux needs to work out but the maths is super duper easy.
I guess they want a couple of days to be sure everything is correct.
Reasonable, I possibly, probably, definitely went off on a little bit too much of a tangent.
My assumption was it was an intentional increase and that we were just not told.
The amount is not 0, it is rounded at 0 because it is really small. If you expand the transaction on arbiscan, you can see the details, on mine I usually have these kind of amounts: 0.000000005588631349
A few of us are doing uploads, and people are receiving upload payments showing as pay for quote. Why it isnāt a better descriptor, I do not know.
But that is what they are and real tiny at the moment. Once more people start uploading and the nodes get some chunks in them, then that earnings will increase per chunk uploaded.
