Hi, recently after updating my nodes to 3.0.7, all rewards down to 0 for almost 5 days. Currently running 300 nodes, udp should works okay since I can have some rewards while using 3.0.6.
4000 nodes on vps, udp should okay tested with google, ports should okay, all running 3.0.7, started while devs saying too few 3.0.7 or latest on network. Everything saying running without issue.
However, nothing…totally nothing from the rewards recently. I am quite wondering if I roll back to 3.0.6

No Please keep your nodes on v0.3.7 ( not 3.0.7 or 3.0.6)
THere is considerable evidence that the nodes running v0.3.6 are causing the many of the upload problems. No uploads == little chance of earning by storing chunks

Most of the astion is from post #390 on where one of the devs @Chriso is encouraging us all to move to v0.3.7 asap and why remaining on 0.3.6 is doing damage to the network

Typo for the version number. In my experience, not really, since I really got some ANT while 0.3.6, but totally nothing after upgrade to all 0.3.7. Plus, all new 0.3.7 4000 nodes on vps earning nothing. That’s why I am thinking the 0.3.6 whale got all the rewards but not the one who’s running 0.3.7. So they are reluctant to upgrade. Totally nothing even the minimal rewards.
So I am quite support if all the rewards goes to 0.3.7 or upper nodes.
If, 0.3.6 do damage to the network, why keep rewarding them? Those are bad nodes, right?

At least someone understand😩meanwhile I am upgrading my router, hopefully putting more nodes online with real storage as well. However, no rewards just keep me delaying all those works.

Nope☹️ I may come back if everything goes better. Maybe it’s not for me.
I am not sure why ppl running less nodes, got way better rewards than me, way way better. Way way better, extremely discouraging for running nodes.

I seldom use discord. I should give up since ipo😂 I don’t know how much I have invested into this coin. I still have quite a lot of Maid, but seems the bitcoin transaction fee higher than this coin value😞still need time to sync the bitcoin network before swapping. However the value like dropping to nothing.
Because the parasites are only interested in extracting value. They are selling off all their emission earnings and suppressing the price.
I am convinced they are working out of under-utilised datacentres and ANY income is welcome to offset fixed costs.
So while they too would like to see $0.30 and better per ANT, they are happy at $0.15 or less> Its just another shitcoin to them,

Suggest Management make a public notice on Discord and here as follows:
Maidsafe will drop any type of support for 0.3.6 by such and such a date, this gets people to update fast.
The way to implement is have a new release 0.3.8 setup to shun anything that is 0.3.6. . Check is done by the antnode at first connect , any request is stored in a blacklist for future, faster action. Antnode checks the list on connect request ,
then fires a nack/refuse connect instead of ack
with msg=“0.3.6 antnode connect refused, outdated antnode software, please upgrade to ”
Refused antnode running old 0.3.6 then logs message.
The Node Operators will get the message fast, no rewards for old software.
after that date deadline.

I understand Autonomi to be a Production Network focused on developers and builders,
= Node operators need to get with it and upgrade? 
This is where a DAO comes in imo, which is a whole other ordeal… which needs a lot of community input before even attempting such a DAO build for vote/governance of updates and their timing.

oh yeah running thousands of nodes has a certain
‘takes along time to do an upgrade because of boot wait relative to available ISP bandwidth port forwarding capacity’

Really a big node operator self imposed missing out during upgrades, no matter how good their automation is…

Weel they 'made their ant token farming setup ’ , now they have to tend to it, every upgrade or get shunned for not being current.
seems fair to me, given Maidsafe and the Foundation really really want a Quality Autonomi Production Network offer out there that people can rely on…
If upgrade such a huge time consuming for huge node operation, I would choose reset and recreate all node, that is what I would do.
(Devs should consider about this issue, if I were the whale, I must reset and start over better than slowly upgrade it)
However, now, if I am earning, why would I try to take risk and upgrade from 0.3.6 to 0.3.7 for a downtime or even crashing the machine(huge nodes on single machine)?
I am really wondering if 0.3.6 even having bigger chance to earn more than 0.3.7 or upper nodes.
Ofcuz, if there is still no reward for me operating 4K nodes on vps@ 0.3.7 or upper, I should shut it all down til next emission and wait for some good news. Meanwhile, my home network with 300nodes @ 0.3.7 will still running.

I have a home setup with 3 nodes (0.3.7) running on a 24/7 server. I’ve been running since autonomi launch, and have yet to see any payment. I’m starting to think that running nodes isn’t really practical for the average user. It may be something that it best left to the “whales”
While someone say running around 30 nodes got rewards every 12hr window
Are you using --no-upnp in the commands you used to add the nodes? Like this:
antctl add --count 30 --no-upnp --node-port 50001-50030 --rewards-address address evm-arbitrum-one

I have in order to use 0.3.7, also tested udp port opened before starting
4K nodes stopped. Nothing today, but 0.76ant past 13hr.
I can make 4TB sbc just around $120, but seems quite fool to put it online. No reward means nothing worth in this rewards rate or value
I’m using the the LaunchPad on Linux. It says UPnP is disabled. Is that the way I should have it?
You are either overloading it or you have a really fat and beefy vps.
I’m sorry but 3 nodes isn’t going anywhere on a network with 30 million nodes online. I think there’s 56k ant being shared over those 30 million nodes.
What’s stopping you from scaling up to more nodes ?
