Iād not be surprised if these big buys are the same person who did the big sells. They shook a few panicking loose hands out of the tree and bought back their same bags at a healthy discount.
Still, it is good to see the price rebounding. We all need this project to have access to funds at a decent rate.

How nice to make the Tree-$haken wake up after the 25th after having previously panic-lost, during the drop, and then shuffle about uncomfortably during the rise. Must be some really Scrooge whale.

nah I am not playing this anymore now that its getting closer to the end of trading. What would make me smile is if we figured out a way to still have a market in the new year so I could keep playing the game.

You guys are talking of a shake out as though its so easy to move maid and sell it. Most maid wallets are probably long term hodlers, daily volume is a joke and most than probably Poloniex exchange was trying to get rid of their maid. Some people from this tribe have taken the opportunity to buy at lower prices. It is as simple as that.

Your statement fails to convince me, you say it is not like that, but that is exactly how it would be, all coins would be returned to their original owner, so I donāt see how you can say itās not like that.
As you point out, they would lose anyway, that is true.
As for saying most coins would be on the same address, possibly, but if we see significant gains, possibly not.
I think we will have to disagree, now your trying to compare apples to oranges.

I never used the word stealing. I simply said coins would be returned to the original owner, which is true in the the scenario I was discussing.
You mentioning friends and wallets and $ was a deviation from what we were discussing.
We were discussing the network, and sale of tokens, and what would happen if the network needed a restart.
Like I said originally, your idea could be the best Iāve seen so far.
Again, I never mentioned stealing, that was all you.
As for snapshot airdrop, may well have been used many times, but in a distribution scenario, not the scenario that essentially a rollback, again not really comparable.

What do people think will happen by the end of the month when Polo trading is halted? Not sure how easy it is to predict, but then again I canāt think regarding this matter, inadvertently at this timeā¦ hence asking here. I havenāt been keeping track of trading/volume/transfer patterns to be able to tell. Plus I canāt view Bittrex. Maybe MaidSafe will surprise us more towards New Year with a new exchange(s)? Maybe nothing will happen. Maybe people are less willing to divulge genuine predictions over the years due to being better at keeping secrets themselves.

Low liquidity will bring further price suppression because big fish want to get in their hands even the little remaining MAID on the market before alpha 3ā¦

85 MAID in my Polo still. 80 MAID transaction fee. I could let someone live for 3 years somewhere if the fee was only 10-15ish, once the price per MAID reaches $500. But instead I get a couple months worth of living out of it. And I gotta submit ID/verif to faceless people if I want to trade my handful of bucks sitting in BTC into MAID, to hold a nice bit more MAID than a measly 5. Meanwhile, terrorists only exist when progress from projects like these gets halted. Why. Oh hey, a new exchange.
Edit: new idea! Iāll transfer my tiny amount of BTC to ChainRift (new exchange) and trade into MAID!

never heard of ChainRiftā¦. sounds like another rando exchange that doesnāt have a lot of trust yet. For me that would be a wait and see how it goes exchange. Will it attract volume anywhere near what we are used to on polo? Will people try it and be happy or does it have issues? If I hear back thatās all good I would edge in and maybe play with a small bag there. No chance I would dive in with the amount of volume I was doing on polo right away though.
