Id sell them some for liquidity (simpleswap) , but not for apx 100 sats under trex price, which is what they’re offering.
Coinswitch aren’t interested in buying more than 15500, again well under mkt value.
It would just be nice to be able to buy a semi substantial (a couple grand worth) here in the US without having to take back alleys to get it.
Yes! Scaling out is not only one of the smartest ways to lock in profits but also since we care about the network it’s better for any or all of us to slowly inject whatever holdings in increments rather than large dumps.
Initially, my plan was similar. But that was years ago. At the moment, I believe it doesn’t matter if I die with a lot of real estate and belongings or a huge bag of Safes. I believe that holding Safes at least allows their price to rise, which I believe is one of the factors that will attract new people to the network. That’s why I don’t plan to sell at any price. Of course, if someone in my family needs money for medical expenses, I will sell. But I don’t plan to sell Safes for things.
If early investors do well, I’d like to see us support some cool software projects on Safe Network.
Of course, I plan to advertise all Safe apps - offline and online in my news site safenetwork.uk and in my game site safenetwork.fun
Paying my taxes on the trades I would do anyway. I’m not sure why I would need to KYC to 1:1 trade, its still trading.
Yeah, I feel you.
You wanna do it well for the community while holding steadily and not for greedy intentions. But from a portfolio management standpoint? It’s not wise at all.
Imagine the following situation… Its 2020 and your (maybe mine) IMO well-optimized portfolio is the following:
70% real estate you live in
10% shares
10% commodities
8% crypto
2% fiat
Then you are in limbo for 2 years and you wake up. Nothing changed, but just because of the last 2-year bull market on your favorite crypto piece, this crypto part made 200x. Now it looks completely different:
4,1% real estate you live in
0,6% shares
0,6% commodities
94,6% crypto
0,11% fiat
You need to have strong nerves not to keep this structure.
If anytime it happens to somebody 80% of all his assets are in crypto, it’s definitely time to sell and get this part of the portfolio back under control I think.
Not being sure why you legally need to do something is not an excuse for illegal activity.
Maybe its ok and you wouldn’t have problems.
Certainly something to consider before you do it though.
Ask a lawyer.
Ppl in the states have had trouble from as few as 5 trades p2p.
Edit.
As I said originally, to much risk for no reward, to me anyway.
In my country all profits are tax free if you hold on same address for one year.
And your country is…
There are many countries where capital gains are tax free, and in countries with a territorial tax system, all gains generated abroad would be tax free.
In Latin America, you have Panama, Paraguay and Uruguay.
Half of Europe you’ve got full territorial taxing.
If you are looking for fiscal residency, Cyprus is a favourite.
Österreich
Sorry had to type in German as needed the 10 characters.
I was only referring to crypto though.
Yep. Austria and Germany both understand the value of long holds on capital. I wouldn’t mind paying capital gains so much if they were 1) progressive in time (lower rates for longer holds) 2) progressive, or with some basic exemption, in scale (e.g. your first 50k of gains per year are exempt), and 3) harder for schemes and well lawyered entities to escape.
I think that’s best, looks like they’re using hit btc data.

I emailed them asking them to remove the defunct exchanges.
We don’t want to remove real historical data. Instead, we’re working on a way of hiding inactive markets and we hope it’s ready soon. Thanks for reaching out.

I feel we are either going up past 30c soon or down to 8c. I feel 8c is more likely.
I really don’t get their data use.
They list bittrex with as at over 60c which is clearly wrong.
Thanks for the effort, hopefully they will get it sorted.
