MaidSafeCoin (MAID & eMAID) - Price & Trading topic (Part 2)

Right now the 550k for 48 sats just dissapeared, 2k at 100 sats. :scream_cat: Wonder if get lucky again.

This huge sell order, to me it seemded triggered by a bot of some kind. Putting an equivalent amount of orders on the buybook at a much lower price. I managed to buy into the wall and now it has dissapeared. The risk reward at this price is huge. Not sure about the risk of bittrex being insolvent, not able to facilitate MAID withdrawals at this point…

I get a feeling they want to dump their 15 million Maids, that it might be their market maker bot selling to get BTC for withdrawals. Don’t know but it makes sense in my mind.

Thought of this as well, it sort of makes sense bittrex is the largest holder

Also, if bittrex will not facilitate withdrawals at this point while allowing its users to buy/trade the underlying asset, owners could be liable. I guess the risk of not being able to retrieve MAID from bittrex is somewhere in the vicinity of 1 to 10%

As they get BTC for selling Maid, think they will fix the Maid wallet for withdrawals. Wonder if the sale will become even larger as it seems not logical why they would keep 15 million Maid. But as you say there is a risk something could go wrong, would not go all in.

Wonder if their exit has something to do with the court cases with Binance and all that or what is the reason they are pulling the plug.

I am way over my head at this point : >

I’d say running out of BTC in the holding address and the increasing withdrawal queue triggered the wallet maintenance.

Prob have to move BTC into the wallet and resync the Omni node to ensure all good. This in the past has taken an increasingly longer time.

I also agree that they would violate the laws of the country they are incorporated in if they didn’t allow a reasonable time to withdraw people’s MAID. Especially considering the wallet maintenance doesn’t allow withdrawals to happen till its finished

Has anyone tried depositing BTC or USD to bittrex? Would really like to buy some more at these prices :pray:t2:

There is arb using Changelly to collect some MAID at about 60% of eMAID market price.
They cut the MAID fee to half.

A bit sad to not be able to partake in the cheap buying opportunities (not available to US residents)… and having to watch from the sidelines once again (sigh). Luck is not on my side, :frowning: .

Next problem is getting BTC :joy: anyone got any to sell me (escrow of course)? How has the btc market turned into the very thing it was trying to destroy :man_facepalming:t3:

I don’t think that is true. What has it become in your opinion? You are blaming centralised exchanges on btc?

How do you mean? You can’t use your credit card?

Just a little annoyed I guess that I can’t buy BTC easily anymore without dancing to the banks/exchanges tune
