Great opportunity for people who wants to try an make some arbitrage, to add liquidity to P2PB2B by setting some sell orders above the global price. Maybe people from the US wants to buy some, at a slightly higher price than the current global price.
Sold all my maid today, was a holder since 2016.

Had to unblock you for a second to see what type of dumb stuff your typed. Was worth it ;).
Tip if you are going to rant on someone try to pick maybe something they didn’t correct immediately after with “Poloniex”, otherwise it just makes you look childish. I know you are perfect, but the rest of us mortals make mistakes. Blocked again!

If there’s anything I’ve learned from being patient, it’s to put things into your own hands ASAP to eliminate any further requiring patience. There’s no point in waiting on Bittrex, unless they respond with a specific date.
If you look in the “Community Effort to Launch ERC20 MAID” thread, the related reveal in there from Sotros25 may bring hope for people not wanting to wait for Bittrex to fix their problem. And, if not happening from that reveal, then there are still ways to get around this paralysis of thinking that Bittrex will “soon be back online”, as long as enough ingenuity is harnessed. Of course, patience is still required, just less of it than waiting on Bittrex, which is almost completely out of this community’s control.

Very true, this is why we support this project; the dream of decentralization and annonimity.
Cheers for both becoming a reality and creating exchanges that can’t be shut down by a single actor!

I invested a very small amount in Doge many years ago, I sold them… I could be leading a very comfortable life right now if I didn’t sell.
The lesson I learned is that, possibly just in the crypto world, if you found a project an attractive investment other new people will also feel the same way. Never sell, let your money ride - especially if there is a great community around a project.
Of course, unless you really really really need the money.
I don’t see myself ever selling MAID until I can use them to pay for network services.
… and to add, my returns on MAID have beaten anything banks have offered. It would be silly to sell.
I think if anyone sells a large position in MAID today, they will find it difficult to buy it all back at the same or lower price.

ERC-20 is not solution at all.
If this is really helpful for the project. It is already done.
This team change all C+ based code to Rust 8 years ago during two years. And It plays a huge role in catching memory bugs in the final stage.
They also took out the PARSEC protocol they had developed over the years and adapt AT2 based payment system for infinite scalability. And it makes possible using DBC.
And they already using CRDT data type for decentralized but more fastable (based on recent R&D) web.
More over all this kinds of changes and implementations are possible because of endless code simplification and refactoring.
I am not dev but as a result of watching over 6 years, I am sure this team is the most dedicated team on the planet to decentralize data.
So, Marketing and erc-20 may be what you think Maidsafe project needs, but I want you to know that the reason why a team that has worked tirelessly for a goal for more than 20 years doesn’t do that. Because that doesn’t help to achieve the goal.
“This team will do anything to achieve the goals:Secure Access For Everyone. records of the past 20 years prove this.”
Let’s wait with some more patient, the goal is not far from here.
P.S. Is there no achievement this team? Well. Haha I am totally not agree with that. 
. But I am agree that not dev based people cant see anything change but price! But it is open source project, and the code is all before launching. ☆.☆

I mean, I’m a great fan of the project and have seen all that stuff through with great fervor, optimism, and then some since 2014, but also realize there’s keeping a healthy position in the price. Of course the project will succeed, even if MAID hypothetically went to last place—and then shoot up from there from said success (since that’s what success means by definition, unless investors suddenly become nonexistent for some unknown paradoxical reason). It’ll just be more chaotic and whiny from various peeps without trying to maintain a good price point/rank, and it’s not like that’s some impossibility.
I didn’t mean to imply that I don’t respect the team and their work on the product. Time for much sleep.

Depends, there is always an optimal time to sell. Lisk I would have millions if I sold when it was at the top back when it pumped to insane heights. Oxy I waited too long and it when to zero, Eth I sold way too soon. There is just an optimal time, but there is no way to know when that is.
It’s really a gamble. I got really lucky sometimes and sometimes I lost, it’s just how it is. Sometimes selling is the best solution, but you can never know when the best time is, if we all had perfect information everything would be worth zero. So here we are guessing and hoping ;).
This exact line or something similar has been uttered by many people including me over the last 5 years+ on here, yet here we are. Again, whatever happens happens im not upset either way but I also look at it as best use of capital allocation and while I agree my investment in maid is much better then cash in a bank, it could have been better producing elsewhere over time and it does feel like this movie of waiting will never end despite amazing efforts by this team.
Proper allocation is important and loss is part of it. Loss doesn’t bother me at all, but waiting for something that never comes is also tough. Every investment, whether positive or negative has a point where you have to consider pulling the ‘chute. Somehow we have made it to nearly September and my guess is Fleming is still a very distant hope.
