I like it, needed to get some fiat excitement with this project again. It was lacking in that department for 2 years here haha. But more importantly than price is that MaidSafe continues to grind and stay grounded no matter where the price is. Hopefully we see .40 cents in next 2-3 weeks possibly with a second pump. Benevolent rich people get us there!

I think that makes perfect sense. Has been the level we lost since Poloniex delisting. and there really isnāt much above that until 3000.
Talking about Poloniex, I emailed them last week about the Maid delisting (I closed my account since the delisting until they gave me a valid reason for the delisting). Asked them if they still stand by their decision, seeing some increasing volume / price will only help

How many socks do people need to eat to make this happen? At present BTC prices, the value of 1 MAID would be $1,295.80.

I did the same calculation. But why wouldnāt it show up that price on exchanges? If it takes me spending .2 BTC to get the price there, I might just do it

Was watching last few days it rise slightly which was nice. Thought Iād celebrate when it reached the top 100 but wow donāt know what went on today.
Massive volatility, no doubt big crash coming. Iām sure @andyypants will be happy either way.
Glad I held on. Donāt think I ever bought when down at 9 and below although did try to find out how to (you guys make it hard but guess no pain no gain).
Well holding my small bag long term no doubt in the green now. Regardless was one of those projects (the only one I know of tbh but Iām not a crypto guy) that feels more like something good rather than a get rich by the founders etc.
Clear that no marketing being made and project pretty ambitious (don Quixote?) So what not to love. Plus itās Scottish obviously.
Really hope for the best for you guys at maid safe but overall itās quite opaque for anyone not heavily invested in the tech or quite niche (unique possibly in this avarice space) Ideals.
What Iām saying and Iāve said before is the surface is hard to scratch, feels hard to get involved at all, very lofty, as well as the online community all being centered in this one place.
I guess in future if things develop and the technology works will be a moot point and this will be more the foundational place etc and will they will see it as a gift to the world. With others taking the reigns and doing normal things with. Will stop there as Iām making less sense and rambling, but nice to see some positive movement for a change even if itās short lived.

Today Iām finally in the black after I first started accumulating in 2017. Held all the way down from those lofty heights buying a little here and there all the way.
You are right about the average person not really able to follow all the technical details. But there ARE technical details, which is the key point. There is so much being discussed and going on. This is the real deal.
I also look at the fact that obtaining MAID is not easy as a plus. This project has been sleeping for a while allowing those willing to investigate this project a chance to buy low. Think of the potential when an actual MVP network is released, ERC20 tokens start to circulate, more average people can start playing with the technology (great UI coming), exchanges start listing tokens, and then the network finally launches.
The flood of interest and investment will be dizzying.
