MaidSafeCoin (MAID & eMAID) - Price & Trading topic (Part 2)

@andreruigrok

People, including myself, are indeed thinking about such important things.

The order I expect it to go in is:

  1. Users obtain tokens from exchanges. (day 1)
  2. Users also buy tokens with BTC directly from Safe. (by release or soon after)
  3. Users also buy gift cards preloaded with tokens from everywhere. (within four years of release)

I have a friend that has some MAID. Updates on MAID are coming through Signals on Blockfolio. They said that not all coins have info on Signals, Blockfolio. Good stuff!

Also I noticed CoinMarketCap does not pick up Safe Network twitter feed. It does pick up the reddit feed.

This is the first update they have seen on Signals for Safe Network since they started using it in January.

Wow, good catch. Don’t they show social activity on there and provide a metric on that? If so then without Twitter it will be negatively biased because there seems to be far more activity mentioning Safe and MAID on Twitter.

CMC shows the @maidsafe Twitter feed, but not the @safenetworktech feed. I think that’s alright while the @safenetworktech is still growing.

You’re right. I think I was not seeing it due to adblock. Thanks @Sotros25

As a U.S. resident (and further restricted by my state of residence), the only way I’m aware of is simpleswap or changelly. And they seem to be hit or miss.

But I reached my target accumulation last June, so haven’t bought any for a while.

I would just check simpleswap every so often
also, you might need to use a VPN (not a recommendation, to be clear).

Does Changelly now allow US residents on their exchange? If so, was not aware.

They always have for certain coin pairs, I think. But for MAID, technically not.

Copy that.

seems like the HitBTC MAID/USD price on blockfolio is broken?

One other option is there are a couple European users on this board who have offered to help facilitate a trade, so you may want to inquire about that. I won’t speak for any of them as I haven’t seen the offer for a while, but you could probably find it in a search, and DM them to ask.

Happy to help facilitate trades, happy to escrow through “senior” members on here as well

Not me. I promise. But someone comes in weekly and has a chomp

the sellers liquidity is pretty awful tbh, just buying a few hundred dollars worth moves the price up! This most likely means a lot of upside to come given most of us who have been hodling for years and years won’t want to sell any at all until much much higher. I wouldn’t be surprised if we 10x from here over the next few months assuming a successful testnet and being more accessible via erc20/uniswap.

I’m pretty excited to finally be able to get a yield on my tokens too by providing liquidity on uniswap.
