This is very important since previous performance is not a correct indicator of future performance. The increased staff means that work is progressing faster and timescales based on performance till now will give erroneous results.
No - you made the claim that it cannot be done as per common practice in many projects. So you need to provide the links that say it will not happen that way.
@Antifragile was correct. If you have been following the dev updates then all that @Antifragile says is contained in them and most who read the dev updates are well aware of these things.
Obviously the full version can be later than a working network that is secure and persistent. These would be called release candidates if they follow normal naming conventions.
Things like Final security audit can be done during this phase. And something like real time updates can be done later, even much later. Updates before then will simply be stop vault/node copy new executable and restart vault/node.
