I’m sorry to say that I didn’t vote for any project. I have been too busy, and the cognitive load for voting was just too much. So many good looking projects combined with fuzzy voting and short time frame was just too much. I didn’t have capacity to go through all the projects and get my head around how significant or insignificant my vote would be either for me (economically) or for the project.
But, I got a new idea! Next time when trying to find the best projects, how about the following process:
Have a thread here in the forum for each project.
People discuss, cheer, etc. to the level of their own understanding.
AI makes a summary of each thread.
AI or humans put different projects in order.
Without money involved the power inequality of participants would be fairer / better, because it would reflect their capability to understand the projects. Also the discussions might be very fruitful and exciting in many ways.
Almost all of the projects do have threads here in the forum where people have been discussing them. As for AI you can copy and paste the threads and the IF pages for each one into Chat GPT to get a summary if you like.
Gets in the top 12 and keeps you under the 50% cut off
Edit: It would have made more sense to increase the lower ranked projects price that haven’t had much backing to stop them leapfrogging the more popular projects.
It would have made sense if all projects increased in cost equally near the end, but having top projects increase more leads to potential targeted strikes to push others out of the top 12 - assuming these knocked out projects will be too expensive to push back in. All depends on the curve implemented.
What I heard and maybe wrong, is that as a project is pushed out of the top 12 the voting price will have dropped for that project. Sort of price takes in the position as well
