I copied the wrong thing while copying the signature from the Omni wallet during the burn process. What do I have to do to rectify this? The burn went ahead but when I came to fill in the form I realised I’d copied the wrong thing for the signature. Any advice will be much appreciated, as lots of tokens are involved…..cheers!
I’m guessing you are alright and just need to generate the signed message of your eth address signed in omni wallet from the address you burned the maid from.
Then submit it along with the transaction hash of the same Omni maid burn.
And you should be good to go.
Thanks for your suggestion, but I’m not too sure what you mean. Is there somewhere I can get the original sign from. It’s not recorded in the omni wallet where you get the hash key from?
Yes this is the method to follow, as I have been told.
Basically do the process again, without burning more MAID, and that means signing again and filling in the form with the new signature
Can you describe this method in more detail please?
Thanks everyone…I think I get the idea now. If I send a few more Maid from the same wallet filling the form properly things should be okay? Cheers!
There is no need to send few more. What is confusing you is that you wrongly assume that the signature is different each time, when in fact it is the same for the same message. That is why they tell you to sign from the same Bitcoin address with the same Ethereum address as the message.

Just do the process again WITHOUT sending any maid, and just repeat the process using the transaction id of the MAID you already sent.
So you previously sent x MAID to the burn address and has transaction id of
So use that id and redo the process
If you do not understand the process then ask what is confusing you, otherwise its just redoing the form.
Hi, thanks for your reply to my problem. I tried on another wallet to do 2 sends and the sign addresses that came up after entering the Metamask wallet address are different. So I’m assuming the same will happen in the original wallet, will it not? Does it matter that if I fill in the form from the original wallet the the sign address is different? I hope I’m making sense here.
The signature must be from the same Bitcoin address you sent the MAID tokens from. MaidSafe will verify the signature and send the ANT tokens to the Ethereum address you provided in the Bitcoin signature.

Yes treat each burn as a single entity. Follow the instructions for the one burn as if it is the only one you ever did. Then treat the 2nd one the same, as if it is the only burn you ever did.
One BTC address per burn. One ARB (ETH) address per burn. One transaction ID per burn, one signing using the BTC address per form submission
Thanks for your response. The problem I have is I didn’t copy the sign address from the original burn. Am I correct your suggesting I go through the process without the burn and use the sign address for the original burn form?
