If noone else will be able to test it, I could make a VM install, but I’m gonna wait a bit.
/edit: Can you run it from the ubuntu launcher? If you hit the “windows key”, the launcher should pop up. If I’m not mistaken, you should be able to find the safe demo app there. Not sure though.

No, neither it (safe-demo) nor Safe Launcher appear in the Ubuntu
Launcher. Strange. As I say, I can open Safe Launcher just fine from a
terminal (“safe_launcher”) but it does not appear in the Ubuntu Launcher.
