Hi, downloaded the demo app today from https://maidsafe.net and that does not work on windows? Any idea why, using windows 10 everything working fine on my PC…

Do you have the Launcher installed and running?
The download for “Launcher” is next to the demo app on maidsafe.net, you need both
to be able to run the demo.
