if anyone would like some nano’s to test uploads to the network please submit your application for funding. our expert bankers will review your application and credit your account with nano’s in a timely fashion.
with your application please state
safe wallet address for: safe wallet address
what you would like to upload
an estimate of the cost to upload: safe files estimate ./yourfile.jpg
upon successful upload you post your file details back here for sharing before being eligible for more coins
for the new comers safe up must be installed
commands are here for creating wallet and geting address
Would like to upload Bitcoin-, Ethereum-, Dogecoin whitepaper and a picture of Elon Musk
Don’t have an estimate right now, if someone else is familiar with the process and everything feel free to do it instead/ before I find out how to get the ducks in a row.
Nothing special - just celebrating your efforts on behalf of the morally and mentally challenged, who despite years on here, still seem pretty much technically incapable
This is a fine idea and very generous of you @aatonnomicc !
Are we sure that there won’t need to be a network reset though that will mean having to discard all previous writes? I think the last I heard was this might be avoidable but wasn’t certain. It would be a shame to burn up your tokens uploading GB that won’t survive.
I was going to request 1 nano to be able to run the estimate myself. But then realized that looked pretty lazy, decided to create one additional node without discord id.
Now the question is, whenever I get nanos in that node, how to send them to my client wallet.
I couldn’t find it in the “safe wallet” help. All commands from safe wallet do not have a “from” argument…
Example:
raul@raspberrypi4:/var/safenode-manager/services/safenode11> $ safe wallet send --help
Send a transfer.
This command will create a new transfer and encrypt it for the recipient. This encrypted transfer can then be shared with the recipient, who can then use the 'receive'
command to claim the funds.
Usage: safe wallet send [OPTIONS] <amount> <to>
Arguments:
<amount>
The number of SafeNetworkTokens to send
<to>
Hex-encoded public address of the recipient
Options:
--timeout <CONNECTION_TIMEOUT>
The maximum duration to wait for a connection to the network before timing out
-x, --no-verify
Prevent verification of data storage on the network.
This may increase operation speed, but offers no guarantees that operations were successful.
-h, --help
Print help (see a summary with '-h')
Sorry for the silly question, might be good to add in the initial post for the next one wondering this.
Got it!
So extrapolating the cost of the estimate for a 29M file, 1TB would cost 0,03 SNT, at today’s prices, $0.015. Maybe this calculation is too dynamic to be of any use, or extrapolations from a small file into a big one are useless, but at least I got myself a number.
I’ve made the first image that is supposed to become a website, the church of crypto, where a vissionary tech figure holding the whitepaper of Autonomi. The page should also contain downloadable whitepapers of Bitcoin, Etherum and Autonomi.
Going to download the whitepapers so they also can be uploaded. Just need to start with showing the picture Ai made, love it and smiling so hard, don’t know if it is just me but it is funny.
