AUTONOMI Token - Price & Trading topic

Yes, definitely ANT.

@Freedom try this. If you know the exact amount of tokens that you received, find the address that holds that number of tokens in the list of holders linked below.

If you can find it by the address balance we can hopefully learn something.

Also how did you generate the address that you provided for them to deposit the ANT to?

If you have difficulty and would like me to try and help search for it and you prefer not to share such info publicly (token balance), feel free to dm me.

Just to cover the basics, don’t give anyone offering help private keys or a seed phrase (obviously) and don’t delete anything whether you think it is important or not until you hopefully have control of the tokens again.

from what has been said it is a high probability the address is wrong. If the history of the address being looked at is nil, zero then that address has had nothing sent to it and definitely never sent anything

Yes, hopefully it is something as simple as multiple addresses generated from a single seed and still recoverable.
UI on many of these wallets are crap and you can end up switching addresses by mistake and poof tokens are ā€œmissingā€.

If he has the seed I bet he still has the tokens.

Here’s ledger’s official guide and pay attention to the warnings there. Particularly about importing Recovery Phrases.

I’m more than sure this is exactly your issue. One phrase is able to generate many addresses. You are looking on the wrong address.

Thank you everybody for your help! Connecting the ledger hardware to my metamask/mew has proved to be beyond me. But I do have the 12 word seed phrase. Maybe there is a better wallet that would show the tokens? Or any other simpler way I could find them with my seed phrase?

You guys must be right, it must be the wrong address, whcih is weird because the were DEFINATELY showing in MEW a few weeks ago AND were obviously there after the ā€˜burn’ as thats how I know the burn was successful and I then watched them for several months in MEW.

Thanks guys! Sorry about me

Just to clarify, how/where did you get the address that you provided as the deposit address for the tokens to be sent to?

I bought emaid on bitmart then set up My Ether Wallet (MEW) and sent them there. I then set up the ā€˜burn’ and the ANT where credited to MEW. This definatley happend, Im just unsure how all the back ground stuff happens, and very confused as to how they can disappear.

I also know the rough amount of tokens if that helps. Just not the exact figure, unless I can locate that somewhere.

Contact me via Discord and I will troubleshoot with you

Thansk mate. Do I need your username to find you?

Ahh ok, so your ledger was not involved in any of this?

As long as you have the seed phrase from setting your mew up you should be fine.

I’ll leave you in Rusty’s capable hands.
Let us know if you guy’s get it sorted.

There will be signs when we’re close. This comes to mind:

Never.

I think something like 0.5€ - 1€ is possible with some new and promising technical advancements, and the excitement they bring.

But more than that would need a network that actually works very well and is actually used a lot. I think that’s a goal that is impossible for Maidsafe to achieve.

Not a financial advise, just my sincere opinion.

To be fair that is a pretty decent moon from where we are .

Sentiment is a funny thing and can change on a dime.

For instance, the crazy number of nodes we had, you would think that would be a good signal of a successful network.
It was a huge red flag to me and terrible for my sentiment.

Feeling far more optimistic that the current number indicates less tomfoolery and abuse, hence improving my sentiment.

The doesn’t seem to be much buzz atm. All the air has been knocked out of the wings (and the community).

I think we need to see network stability returning, with an emphasis on node rewards for storage, not emissions. I believe the two are directly linked, in fact.

Merkle payments should be uncorking that too, but the lack of buzz and announcements around this are a mystery. I gather it was launched before Christmas, but who would know, other than those watching the chats closely?

Maybe there are partner discussions going on or maybe the team is waiting for another iteration. I don’t know. All feels very quiet, so hard to get excited atm.
