It seems quite possible that we could have native token and trade on Defi at the same time with a bridge.
For example using Kyber Network. We need to build a bridge that allows people to create a liquidity pool and then people can link their ETH wallets with Kyber and trade our token with others via their network.
I think there may be other projects offering similar tech, but it’s a clear alternative to running 
with an ETH token via a level-2, so I think it’s worth consideration - now and into the future when we can reclaim our native token.
