Yea there was no way that I saw it with glasses on, had to look with these old eyes.
I reckon it’ll mostly be like the tests they did when they inserted a frame into a movie advertising a soft drink. Has a minor effect on your senses but less than if they did it boldly as an typical advert

Is it the new “cold fusion” where research into partial effects goes on for decades? Or is there something there that can be teased out with better engineering and experimentation?
This has the hallmarks of nope, dead end and something better will arrive long before their attempts to get more funding has all dried up.
Sounds more like they are after some big funding to continue their research and are saying that its just people cannot make it pure enough and need a lot more funding to get the process working good enough to produce reliable samples. Then of course they will need a ton more funding to make it more large scale. Next time there will be another excuse, they need to build the equivalent of the flux capacitor.

I reckon it’d be great to see it by some other metrics.
- total mass
- total volume
- different functionalities
- power generated (not the idea of transmitting it to earth but for use within the satellites thenselves)
- people benefited directly by satellites owned by entity.
Or by satellite x useful life, and by carbon footprint per year.
