The end of AI hallucination? The cost is more tokens. Can be done with prompts on any model too I suppose.
That agent app looks amazing.
Yeah today I’ll be trying it out, because in all honesty this is what you expect from Claude, ChatGPT etc. This significantly lowers the barrier to create something. Would be fun if Maidsafe had a partnership with Replit…

EDIT: 8:40 UTC now - been delayed a wee bit
Historical event today (or your tomorrow?)
This is a first. Like the Mercery missions I watched back in the 60’s with Astronauts poking their heads/bodies out of this space craft, except now the first for non-NASA but a commercial spacewalk.
0600 UTC if I got my timezones right
Stream has started and the walk is expected in 25 minutes (or soon after) from now
Trust is important because ignoring users and the communities that support any project has a cost.
Mozilla, Autonomi and if you know their histories, Google, Microsoft, Github and many others have all followed a noble path but ultimately have betrayed their values and users. Which means us.
I’ve been pondering this and now think it is almost inevitable. It has many names and the one I have most used is “bait and switch”. But that implies intention and I no longer believe intention is necessary because I do not believe that is behind any of the actions we are seeing Autonomi take.
In fact, despite everyone’s beliefs and intentions, I think this kind of betrayal is inevitable because the tide is so strong, that even the best intentioned projects are likely to succumb through a variety of pressures.
That’s the only explanation I have for the events I’m witnessing just now. I’ll say more at some point, but in the mean time, just look around.
Sounds good, even better in the future though, right?

If you can make pagers explode remotely.
Not sure if I am more surprised about that or the news that pagers still exist.
Nonetheless can the same be done with phones?
Perhaps we want that. Will force us all to get rid of them, almost certain it will be better for us.
It seems most likely that some sort of explosive was inserted into the devices and not to do with the batteries. So hacking of your phone seems not to be an issue here - no matter how much we’d all like a good excuse to ditch them
How that happened would be as interesting as the original theory of batteries
Here’s one theory:
But I also hear that these pagers use AA or AAA batteries … of course those could still be original as these were new pagers.
Amazing strike, second day, now 2 way radios. This is some MacGyver/James Bond level stuff. Can only hope for a ground invasion were Israel liberates Lebanon from terror cult islamism. They say a ground invasion might be imminent
I’m speechless in the face of cruelty these attacks show.
From a technical point of view it might be surprising to many, how much power there is even in very little amounts of the top category of high explosives, such as PETN, RDX, or even good old dynamite - as well as in primary explosives such as lead azide, mercury fulminate etc.
One gram, maybe even less, is enough to kill a person, if it happens to be close to sensitive parts of the body, or set’s some object such as a shell of a battery to go in a very high speed.
I was trained as an explosive specialist during my military service in the Finnish army. I think that quite many of us have some experience with firecrackers and can only think that sort of “bang” when something small explodes. But when you compare black powder to something like PETN, there is three main things to compare:
- Detonation velocity
- Explosion energy
- Specific volume of the gases produced
Now, these things for black powder are something like.
- 1350 m/s
- Didn’t find this with quick search
- 0.27 liters per gram
PETN
- 8400 m/s
- 5810 kJ/kg
- 0,79 liters per gram
So, what happens when an exposive explodes is that an amount of solid matter turns into gas in an instant. If you compare the numbers above, you can see that the amount of gas produced by PETN is about 3 times that of black powder, and the speed at which that happens is about 6 times fastet. This means that the shock wave of PETN is way, way, way more destructive than that of black powder, or your average AA battery sized firecracker.
I hope this helps to understand why such a small device can produce such a damage when exploding.
Does it also matter that it was packed in small device?
Remember when was young, we used to take large outdoor metal candles, turn them upside down and put a firecracker under. The loose wrapped China crackers sent the candle maybe flying 1-2 meters up in the air. The tight wrapped Tiger crackers sent it 6-8 meters up in the air.
It matters with black powder, or even with modern smokeless gunpowder, that basically just burn very fast, but not with high explosives, that detonate.
